Individual therapy
Slowing down can facilitate transformation.
“What actually happens in therapy?”
One might imagine lying on a couch talking about a childhood memory. It might happen, but we will also rely strongly on what is happening in your life right now.
This process bridges the past to your present and can disrupt old patterns that aren't working anymore.
Therapy can feel heavy at times, but you won't be in it alone. Balancing hard work with humor when appropriate, we'll strive to find the lightness that leads to relief.

“Be patient with all that is unresolved within your heart, and try to love the questions.”
RAINER MARIA RILKE
Relationships can bring out the best in you. But they can bring out your biggest challenges too.
Even healthy relationships can be complicated, and the ways we respond and feel in them can be confusing. Let’s work together to help you understand your relationship dynamics — what they are, why they are, and how to navigate them in a way that feels better inside.
We are more than just our relationships, and so is therapy!
Anxiety & Stress
It’s hard not to feel anxious and stressed these days. Therapy can be a dedicated space in your week to notice what is happening inside.
Self-Confidence
Learn to understand and trust your core self. You can trust that quiet voice inside you.
Overcoming Trauma
We will work collaboratively, and you can set the pace. I will provide steady support and gentle challenges as needed to help you feel more like yourself again.
Body Image & Eating Disorders
I have years of experience navigating body image, body dysmorphia & other eating disorder-related concerns with clients.
My approach
A therapeutic approach I find effective is Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
A bit more about what AEDP can do…
Intentionally slowing down to focus on what is happening physically & emotionally in the moment
Tracking what is happening in the moment can lead to emotional breakthrough and expedite healing
The emphasis on the therapeutic relationship being strong and secure, so that you never feel alone in the process
